Dividing up the morning croissants, but where's the jam (and the decaf)?

Our second Airbnb home this road-trip was fab. A dash of Loft living in waterfront Williamsburg, with a view of the Empire State building from the loo. J did some decorative re-purposing and I got consumed by the bountiful art books.

An afternoon row in a strong breeze. We were slightly anxious that we may be setting ourselves up for more drama but apart from rowing technique frustrations all was calm. We docked in a sheltered cove, snacked on pistachios and apricots before heading against the wind and the tide, to the rickety dock, with M taking the oars.
